I am a level 3 BSc Psychology student with The Open University and volunteer research associate in the Institute for Mental Health, School of Psychology, University of Birmingham. My research experience covers a range of projects on youth mental health: researching biopsychosocial risk and resilience factors for mental health in healthy young adults; adapting an acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) intervention for young adult professionals experiencing burnout; and guiding policymakers in developing early intervention strategies for improving mental health in young people. Iā€™m also working on my own research project, which explores the impact of childhood adversity and anxiety levels on emotion recognition in healthy young adults.
