I am a level 3 BSc Psychology student with The Open University and volunteer research associate in the Institute for Mental Health, School of Psychology, University of Birmingham. My research experience covers a range of projects on youth mental health: researching biopsychosocial risk and resilience factors for mental health in healthy young adults; adapting an acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) intervention for young adult professionals experiencing burnout; and guiding policymakers in developing early intervention strategies for improving mental health in young people. Iām also working on my own research project, which explores the impact of childhood adversity and anxiety levels on emotion recognition in healthy young adults.
